Your average festival is notorious for its carnivalesque food options and less-than drink choices, but anyone who has experienced the culinary superiority of Outside Lands knows the San Francisco festival does noms better than anyone else out there—and the 2019 edition is no exception.
The festival, which takes place in Golden Gate Park from August 9-11, recently released its food and drink lineup, which consists of 200+ menu items from 80 restaurants, 46 wineries, 31 breweries, and six cocktail bars, the majority of which are from the Bay Area and Northern California.
Mixologists from 15 Romolo, The Snug, Starline Social Club, Comstock Saloon, The Treasury and RadHaus will be featured as part of the festival’s Cocktail Magic experience, while Dave McLean (Founder of Magnolia Brewing Company) and Peter Eastlake (Owner at Vintage Berkeley & Solano Cellars) will curate the Beer Lands and Wine Lands, respectively.
Outside Lands is probably the only festival where people pore over the food and drink options as carefully as they plan their musical journey, so if you’re planning to hit up the event this year, be sure to study up.
